The Southwest Region of Florida is south of the Tampa Bay Region along the Gulf Coast, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico. This region is known for its beautiful beaches and produces some of the best shelling in the world. Two most famous resort islands in this region are Sanibel and Captiva, while the city of Naples attracts residents from all over the world.
