The Southeast Region of Florida is on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. This large region, also referred to as South Florida is the sixth largest metropolitan area in the United States which includes Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County. It is the most culturally diverse region in all of Florida and serves as an excellent resource for global corporations requiring a multi-lingual workforce. The most populous city in this region is Miami (2nd largest city in the state) and home of The University of Miami. Other large cities include Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and West Palm Beach.

Counties in the Southeast Region include Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, Indian River County, St. Lucie County, Martin County, and Monroe County.
